چکیده
We report on the cryogenic properties of a low-contraction silicon–aluminum composite, namely Japan Fine Ceramics SA001, to use as packaging structure for silicon devices. SA001 is composite material (75% by volume) and has low thermal expansion coefficient ( $$\sim $$ 1/3 that aluminum). The superconducting transition temperature measured be 1.18 K, which in agreement with pure aluminum thus available magnetic shield material. residual resistivity 0.065 µΩm, considerably lower than equivalent contraction immersed liquid nitrogen $$\frac{L_{293\,\mathrm {K}}-L_{77\,\mathrm {K}}}{L_{293\,\mathrm {K}}}=0.12\%$$ , consistent expected rate obtained from volume-weighted mean contractions aluminum. machinability also confirmed demonstrated fabrication conical feedhorn array, wall thickness 100 µm. These are suitable applications large-format detector

A Comprehensive Analysis of Low-Resistivity Silicon Radiation Detectors
Low-resistivity materials have been proposed for the fabrication of radiation-hard solid-state particle detectors. A complete analysis of low-resistivity detector performance, including the estimate of charge collection efficiency, has been carried out by using a numerical device simulator, and compared with results expected from conventional, high-resistivity devices. By exploiting the feature...
متن کاملUltra-low-noise, High-impedance Preamp for Cryogenic Detectors
Introduction: Certain liquid-helium-cooled semiconducting materials make the most sensitive radiation detectors for the far-infra-red region of the spectrum. A few examples are the InSb Putley-mode detector, the Ge photoconductor and the GaAs photoconductor. All three display high dynamic impedance, relatively large bandwidth and very little noise because of their low operating temperature. The...
متن کاملThermal detector model for cryogenic composite detectors for the dark matter experiments CRESST and EURECA
The CRESST (Cryogenic Rare Event Search with Superconducting Thermometers) and the EURECA (European Underground Rare Event Calorimeter Array) experiments are direct dark matter search experiments where cryogenic detectors are used to detect spin-independent, coherent WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particle)-nucleon scattering events by means of the recoil energy. The cryogenic detectors use a...
متن کاملCryogenic Composite Detectors for the Dark Matter Experiments CRESST and EURECA
Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) are candidates for non-baryonic Dark Matter. WIMPs are supposed to interact with baryonic matter via scattering off nuclei producing a nuclear recoil with energies up to a few 10 keV with a very low interaction rate of ∼10−6 events per kg of target material and day in the energy region of interest. The Dark Matter experiment CRESST (Cryogenic Rare Ev...
متن کاملsome properties of fuzzy hilbert spaces and norm of operators
in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...
